PART-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-NANNY needed in CHICAGO , IL 60641 (OLD IRVING PARK)

This friendly family has 2 children: 12 year old boy and 10 year old boy and is seeking a proactive, organized and reliable Household Manager-Nanny to stay with them long-term. This position will be primarily household management duties with very minimal childcare as children are older and in school majority of the day. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, parent's laundry and linens, meal preparation, make lunches for the next day, grocery shopping, running errands, organizational projects,take vehicle in for maintenance as needed, wait for repairs/services as needed, cooking dinner, pet care--feeding dogs, letting out, taking for walks (on the days they are there), and helping with driving of the children as needed-- either pick up from school or driving to/from activities. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, friendly and reliable. Candidate must have prior household management experience! Mom works from home a few times a week.

Schedule:

Option 1: Monday-Thursday: 5 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times.

Option 2: 3 days per week: 6 or 7 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times. Flexible on the 3 days, just no Fridays and no weekends.

*NOTE: Candidate must be an experienced driver and will need to use own car for driving. Mileage will be reimbursed

Salary: To be discussed directly with Placement Counselor-based on experience BEFORE TAXES
