PART-TIME TEMPORARY HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-COOK-HOUSEKEEPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60618 (ROSCOE VILLAGE)
**UPDATED HOURS AND SCHEDULE**
This active family of 4 is seeking a trustworthy, reliable, and communicative Temporary Household Manager-Cook-Housekeeper to stay with their family for the next 4 months while mom is on maternity leave. Duties include: light housekeeping (family has a cleaning service who comes once a week to do the deep cleaning), tidy up the home, do the dishes and wash bottles, laundry, grocery shop, do store returns, walk the dog occasionally, and cook meals and meal prep/plan (family is dairy and gluten free—would like a protein and vegetable with each meal—some examples include: salmon or steak and a vegetable, artichoke pesto pasta, etc.). Some meals should also be prepared to be re-heated for the week. MUST LOVE CHILDREN AND DOGS! Mom and children will be home and dad works from home. The ideal candidate will be nice, discrete, and take initiative.
**This is a short-term position that will start ASAP (no later than 11/26) and go until 3-7-2025**
This is a part-time position for 4-5 days and 15-20 hours per week
Work days and hours
Option 1 (preferred)
Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
Thursday: 4pm-8pm
Saturday: 4pm-8pm (family can be flexible on start/end times weekend work days)
Sunday: 4pm-8pm (family can be flexible on start/end times weekend work days)
Optional + 1 more day (either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday): 4pm-8pm
Option 2
Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
Thursday: 4pm-8pm
1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) (family can be flexible on start/end times for weekend day)
+ 1-2 more days (either Monday, Wednesday, Friday): 4pm-8pm
NOTE: Candidate must be an experienced driver. Candidate will need to use own car to run errands and mileage will be reimbursed. There is free street parking available.
NOTE: Candidate must have prior experience cooking for a family before.
Salary: TAKE HOME—to be discussed with Placement Counselors
