PART-TIME PRIVATE CHEF needed in NAPERVILLE, IL 60540

This busy and friendly family of 6 is seeking a knowledgeable, proactive and health-conscious Private Chef to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: meal planning, grocery shopping, preparing lunches (for adults and 3 kids-packed for school), prepare dinners for family, clean up kitchen after meals and ensure fridge and pantry are stocked with healthy ingredients and snacks. Meals should be healthy and of a variety. Meals do not need to be put on the table, they can be prepared and packaged with re-heating instructions.

Family has a pecan and walnut allergy and does not eat meals that include pork, beef or alcohol. Some examples of meals they eat are: chicken, fish, shrimp, veggies and more of a Mediterranean style cuisine. The chef should know how to use healthy, whole foods and use healthy ingredients (organic, not processed, etc.), to ensure they are filling their fridge and pantry with the right items. The family is very health-conscious of what they are putting into their bodies.

Parents work from home and there is a Nanny in the home. Candidate must have experience working as a Private Chef for a family; ideally a family that had children. This person should also follow all cleanliness standards when cooking food. The ideal candidate will be independent, hardworking and creative.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (12-18 hours/week): 3 days per week for 4-6 hours per  day. Flexible on the 3 days as long as they are week days and flexible on start/end time as long as it's between 7am-5pm.

Option 2 (16-24 hours/week): 4 days per week for 4-6 hours per  day. Flexible on the 4 days as long as they are week days and flexible on start/end time as long as it's between 7am-5pm.


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor. Dependent on experience
