TEMPORARY PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in NAPERVILLE , IL 60564
This position can start ASAP and go until April/May
This loving family has 2 children: 6-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl and is seeking a patient, understanding and fun Nanny to stay with their family for the next 4-5 months.
6 year old boy is at school during the day, so majority of the week will be with the 3 year old girl. She just got diagnosed with an illness and is undergoing Chemotherapy. Given this news, the family is really looking for a Nanny that is very happy, fun and engaging with her.
Duties include: get children ready for the day, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with children, read books, sing songs, play games, play outside weather permitting, prepare healthy snacks and meals for kids, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, pick up older child from school as needed (ex: if parents have an appointment in the city, they will need Nanny to pick up child), help older child with homework if needed, teach younger child letters, numbers colors and age-appropriate learning, etc. There may be times where the parents need to take the 3 year old to appointments and Nanny will be at the home with no children. During these times, household management tasks would be needed-such as tidying up, laundry, dishes, meal prep, organization and/or errands. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, loving, and very trustworthy. Parents work from home.
**It's very important that the Nanny is very honest and communicative if he/she is feeling sick. 3 year old is undergoing Chemotherapy and her immune system is weakened. If Nanny has been around anyone sick, he/she should tell the family and wear a mask during this time.
This is a short-term position for 5 days and 20 hours a week.
Work days and hours:
Option 1 (Preferred Schedule):
Monday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Wednesday: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Option 2:
Monday: 9am-4pm
Thursday: 9am-3pm
Friday: 9am-3pm
NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.
Family has no pets.
Salary: $25-$30 per hour TAKE HOME
Benefits: National holidays that fall within the assignment will be off and paid
