AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60654 (RIVER NORTH)

This busy and friendly mom has 1 child: 9 year old girl and is seeking a smart, outgoing and kind After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: pick up child from school, drive to/from activities, play and engage in age-appropriate activities with her, prepare snacks for child, ensure she does her homework,take to nearby parks/playgrounds, zoo, museums, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, run occasional errands and start dinner for child. The ideal candidate will know how to be firm when needed but also very loving, fun and engaging.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 20 hours a week.

Work days and hours

Monday-Friday: 3pm-7pm

NOTE: Some flexibility to stay later on occasion.
 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. You will have to drive children to/from school and activities. Nanny will need to use own car and will get reimbursed for mileage. Parking provided.

*Family has 1 cat.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--dependent on experience
