FULL-TIME NANNY needed in WILMETTE, IL 60091

This healthy and active family has 1 child: 19 month old girl and is seeking a reliable, energetic, engaging Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Family is due with another baby in March. Duties include: get child ready for the day, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, read books, sing songs, play outside, take to parks, playgrounds, zoo, library, etc., drive child to/from activities and classes, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, prepare healthy snacks for child (organic foods, no artificial sweeteners or added sugar, etc.), and prepare dinner for child (parent's typically have this ready and Nanny will just need to heat up). Mom will stay home on maternity leave for about 4 months and during this time some of the time Nanny will be with toddler, some of the time with newborn. At this time, newborn duties will be expected--diapers, naps, feedings, washing sterilizing bottles, keeping a baby log, etc. Nanny should have newborn/infant experience and should be familiar with handling breast milk.  The ideal candidate will be calm, tidy, proactive and creative.

Work days and hours

Monday: 7:15am - 5:30pm

Tuesday: 7:15am - 5:30pm

Wednesday: 7:15am - 5:30pm

Thursday: 7:15am - 5:30pm

Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm

Note: Some flexibility to stay later on occasion. 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities.


Salary: $29-$31 per hour BEFORE TAXES + overtime for hours over 40

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 9 national holidays, 5 sick days.
