PART-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-NANNY needed in PARK RIDGE, IL 60068

This busy family has 1 child: 12-year-old girl and is seeking a fun, energetic, and reliable Household Manager-Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: run errands, grocery shopping, light cooking (examples: rice, chop veggies, and family can teach candidate to follow easy recipes), laundry, light housekeeping (tidy up living area), clean the cat’s litterbox, drop-off/pick-up child from activities, arrange play-dates, and occasionally bake with the daughter. Dad works from home and mom works from home a couple days a week. Grandparents also come and visit for several months at a time—candidate must be comfortable with family speaking in a different language when they are there. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, and understanding.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm

NOTE: Household Manager-Nanny must be an experienced driver. You will need to use your own car to run errands and drive the child. Will be reimbursed for mileage.

NOTE: Occasional evening, weekend, or overnight is a plus but not a must!

Salary: $25-$27 per hour

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week Nanny’s choice and 1 week family’s choice), 6 national holidays that fall on a work day, and 4 sick days
