PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in HIGHLAND PARK, IL 60035

This friendly family has 2 children: 3-year-old boy and 1-year-old boy and is seeking a .kind, gentle and communicative Nanny to stay with their family long-term. The primarily responsibility will be for the 1 year old as the 3 year old will be at school during the time the Nanny is there. However, there will be some occasions where he will be home (ex: school breaks,etc.). Duties include: feeding 1 year old (breakfast-at 8am, snack-11am and lunch-12pm), putting 1 year old down for a nap around 9am, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, play outside, read books, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and do some household tasks when child is napping--family laundry, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, organizational projects, etc. Wednesdays mom takes 1 year old somewhere at 11am, so most of Wednesday will be household management tasks. Family has a strict schedule for the kids (meal times, nap times, etc.), so would need Nanny to follow that. The ideal candidate will be engaging, honest, helpful and comfortable following a gentle parenting approach. Mom is home but either typically running errands or in separate office.

This is a long-term position for 3 days and 15 hours a week. 

Work days and hours: 

Monday: 8am - 1pm

Wednesday: 8am-1pm

Friday: 8am - 1pm

NOTE: The above schedule is preferred. However, family could also do Mon/Tue/Fri or Mon/Thur/Fri

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor- based on experience
