FULL-TIME NANNY needed in WILMETTE, IL 60091

This sweet family has 1 child: 5.5-month-old baby girl and is seeking an experienced, kind and engaging Nanny to stay with their family for many years. Duties include: infant care (feeding, diapers, naps, etc.), bathe, dress and get baby ready for the day, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare solids (when baby is old enough to have them), play and engage with baby in developmentally appropriate activities to ensure she is reaching milestones (tummy time, sitting, rolling, etc.), read books, sing songs, take baby on walks, take baby to parks, library, museums, activities, etc. to ensure baby gets some socialization, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, rotation of baby's closet/clothes and baby's laundry. Nanny should be knowledgeable in infant development (knowing which milestones she should be working on, sleep practices, introducing solids/baby-led weaning, etc.). Nanny should also be comfortable keeping a log of baby's day and communicating with parents.  Must have infant experience. Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified. Dad works from home most of the time and mom works from home a few times a week. The ideal candidate will be social, loving and an excellent communicator. Family is hoping to grow their family in the future, so Nanny should be comfortable with watching 2 children down the road.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday: 9am - 5pm

Tuesday: 8am - 4pm

Wednesday: 9am - 5pm

Thursday: 8am - 4pm

Friday: 9am - 5pm

NOTE: Some slight flexibility might be needed. Tuesdays and Thursdays may need to switch to 8am-5pm. If this happens, MWF would have a 4pm end time. 

NOTE: Flexibility to help with occasional date nights would be  a big plus!
 

*NOTE: Nanny should be an experienced driver and have own car to get to family's home. 

Salary: $27-$30 per hour BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
