FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This friendly family is seeking a calm, experienced and proactive Nanny-Household Manager primarily for their newborn baby girl. Family has two other children (3y and 4y) but they are in daycare during the day, so the newborn will be the primary responsibility. There may be some occasional times where the Nanny would need to watch the other children-with advanced notice. Duties include: newborn care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), bathe and dress child, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare snacks and meals for children, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with baby, read books, sing songs, take outside, take to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc.,take swimming in the summer (being comfortable getting in the water and swimming), tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, and then helping with household management tasks if there is time (ex: if baby is napping) such as family laundry, meal preparation/cooking, organizational projects, tidying up common areas and feeding/letting the dog outside as needed. Nanny should be very engaging, creative, loving and responsible. The ideal candidate will naturally be able to anticipate the family's needs, both in childcare and around the home, without always needing direction. Parents work from home.

NOTE: Nanny must know how to swim/be comfortable as the family has a swimming pool.

Work days and hours:
Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm
NOTE: Some flexibility to stay later on occasion. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-based on experience
