PART-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-COOK needed in CHICAGO, IL 60657 (Lakeview)

This busy family of 3 is seeking an experienced, tidy and friendly Household Manager-Cook to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: make beds, wash and change bedsheets and towels, light housekeeping the 2400 sq foot home--dusting, wiping down counters, clean up kitchen, vacuum high traffic areas as needed, tidying up, etc. (they have someone that does deep cleaning), take out trash, bring mail and packages in, water plants as needed, laundry, dishes, errands as needed--dry cleaning, car wash, gas, etc, take inventory on food and go grocery shopping once a week, daily cooking and meal prep--pack school lunches for child, and prepare one meal--family can provide recipes, driving child to school in the morning (4.5 year old girl), and other seasonal chores as needed (ex: vacuuming fireplace, cleaning humidifiers, putting up/taking down decorations, etc.).. Candidate must know how to cook/have some experience. This will be basic healthy cooking--know how to boil rice and pasta, bake chicken, fry an egg, etc. The ideal candidate will be very clean and neat, proactive and pays attention to detail. Family lives on 3rd floor-so someone okay going up/down stairs. Mom works from home.

Work days and hours:

Option 1:

Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-12:45pm  (20 hours/week)

Option 2:

Monday-Friday: 7:45am-11:45am (20 hours/week)

NOTE: Candidate must be an experienced driver and can use family vehicle for driving. 
 

Salary: To be discussed directly with Placement Counselor-based on experience
