FULL-TIME NANNY needed in CHICAGO , IL 60610 (GOLD COAST)

This busy family has 1 child: 5-month-old baby boy and is seeking a flexible, engaging and experienced Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: infant care (diapers, feeding, naptime, etc.), prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities and ensuring child meets milestones (ex: tummy time, sitting up, rolling, crawling, etc.), prepare solids when baby is old enough to eat them, read books, sing songs, take child to playgrounds, zoo, museums, library, etc., baby's laundry, tidy up common areas and load/unload dishwasher. Nanny must be knowledgeable in early childhood education and be familiar developmental stages and be creative with coming up with ideas on how to work on those skills with baby. The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient and nurturing.

**Travel: Family travels often. Nanny must be willing to travel with family. Approximately 1 time a month for 3-4 days on average-sometimes less and sometimes more. Mostly domestic but sometimes international.

Work days and hours:

**Below is a sample schedule. Flexibility is needed, though, as the schedule can vary week to week. Typically, the schedule will be 3-4 weekdays and Sunday. Sunday is a must day. 40 hours per week will always be guaranteed.

Tuesday: 7am - 5pm

Wednesday: 7am - 5pm

Thursday: 7am - 5pm,

Sunday: 7am - 5pm

NOTE: Driving not needed. Nanny does not need to drive at all.


Salary: To Be Discussed with Placement Counselor.Based on experience
