High-End Nanny Jobs

FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK) 

This busy and loving family has 2 children: 10-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy and is seeking a proactive, reliable and engaging Nanny- Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Both children are in full-day school, so position will be a split of nanny duties (when kids are home) and household management duties (when kids are at school). Daughter has ADHD, so Nanny should be very patient and understanding. 

Duties include: drive kids to/from school, camp and after-school activities, prepare snacks for kids, ensure children do their homework, play and engage with kids in age appropriate activities--sports, arts/crafts, parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, museums, games, swimming, etc., take kids to play dates, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, run household errands (ex: dry cleaning, household supplies, returns/exchanges, post office, etc.), grocery shopping and making sure house is stocked for the week, meal preparation and cooking dinner, take family vehicle for services as needed (ex: get gas, oil change, car wash, etc), schedule maintenance/repair services as needed and be there when they are scheduled and organizational projects (ex: kids' closets, fridge, pantry, etc.) . The ideal candidate will be reliable, outdoorsy and helpful. The children are also animal lovers and enjoy going to the animal shelter so would love a Nanny who also loves animals/pets. 

*Grandma lives with the family. Duties will include taking her to appointments and taking her with to the grocery store. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--BEFORE TAXES
