PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME TEMPORARY NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in BARRINGTON, IL 60010
This active and very nice family has 2 children: 6-year-old girl and 4-year-old girl and is seeking a bubbly, warm, and positive Temporary Nanny-Household Manager to start with their family ASAP and will go until July 3rd (this position has the potential to become long-term). Duties include: feed girls’ breakfast and get them ready to go to school in the morning, pick up children from school and take them to/from their activities, help children with their homework, make dinner for the children, prepare backpacks for school for the next day, bathe children, remind children to pick up after themselves, children’s laundry, run errands, light housekeeping (tidy up), load/unload the dishwasher, and feed/let the dog out. Both parents work from home 1 day a week. The ideal candidate will be flexible, happy, and take initiative.
**This is a temporary position that will start ASAP and will go until July 3rd—this position does have the potential to become long-term**
Work days and hours
School Year Schedule (32.5-37.5 hours per week):
Monday-Friday: 6:30am-8:30am and 1pm-5:30pm-6:30pm (flexible on the end time as long as it is between 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Summer Schedule (37.5-38.5 hours per week):
Monday: 8am-5pm/6pm
Tuesday: 6:30am-8:30am and 1pm-5:30pm-6:30pm (flexible on the end time as long as it is between 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Wednesday: 6:30am-8:30am and 1pm-5:30pm-6:30pm (flexible on the end time as long as it is between 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Thursday: 6:30am-8:30am and 1pm-5:30pm-6:30pm (flexible on the end time as long as it is between 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Friday: 8am-3pm
NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. You will need to use your own car to drive children and run errands. Car MUST be able to fit 2 car seats in it. Will be reimbursed for mileage.
NOTE: Available to work full days when children are out of school is a plus but not a must!
Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor
Benefits: National holidays that fall on a work day and 2 PTO days (however, if position does become long-term there will be an increase in benefits)
Family has 1 dog: large Goldendoodle
