FULL-TIME NANNY needed in WILMETTE, IL 60091

This busy and friendly family has 1 child: 3 year old girl and is seeking a flexible, reliable and engaging Nanny who enjoys traveling to stay with their family long-term. Family currently has a daytime Nanny and is looking for a 2nd Nanny to join their family to help out with the afternoons/evenings, weekends and travel. Duties will vary depending on the day but will include: prepare healthy snacks and meals for child, drive child to/from school and activities, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with child, do arts and crafts, sing songs, read books, teach letters, numbers, colors, etc., read books, tidy up common areas, and let dog out as needed. Family anticipates having another baby down the road, so Nanny should be comfortable with this and have some newborn/infant experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, dedicated and creative.

Work days and hours:

40 hours/week will be guaranteed. But flexibility for more hours as needed.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday: 3pm-7pm + 1 weekend day + flexibility on how the rest of the hours are spread to get to 40/week

Family typically travels 1-3 times a month. This can range anywhere from 2 days up to 7. Travel is mostly domestic but sometimes international. Trips will be discussed in advance. Nanny must be comfortable traveling on a private plane with the family.

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school.


Family has 1 dog-Husky and 1 cat.

Salary: To be discussed directly with Placement Counselor--based on experience BEFORE TAXES
