PART-TIME NANNY needed in LAKE FOREST, IL 60045

This busy family has 3 children: 2-month-old boy, 4-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old boy and is seeking a Nanny for only their baby and is looking for an energetic, detail oriented, and reliable Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: newborn care (feeding, diapers, naptime), talking to him, cuddling, and going outdoors. The family does not believe in the cry it out method. Family has a Nanny for 2 older children. Care for older children will only be needed if their Nanny is off for the day. Must be CPR certified or willing to become if hired.  Dad works from home a couple days a week. MUST HAVE A LOT OF NEWBORN EXPERIENCE! The ideal candidate will be nurturing, active, and punctual.

Work days and hours

Friday: 7am-6pm

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. You will need to use your own car and will be reimbursed for mileage.

NOTE: Available for occasional Saturdays is a plus but not a must!

FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER (ESTATE-LEVEL) needed in WINNETKA, IL 60093
 

**Experience working in an estate or a formal household is highly preferred. 

This sophisticated couple is seeking a hardworking, flexible and experienced Estate-Level Housekeeper to stay with them for many years. The Housekeeper is expected to do what is necessary to maintain an impeccable appearance in the home.  Housekeeper will work with 4 other Housekeepers and together will split up the duties that need to be done throughout the home. Housekeeper will also work with and report to the Household Manager. 

The housekeeper has the overall responsibility of all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, following recipes and doing simple healthy cooking--this is split up with other housekeepers and can include breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, healthy drinks (ex: chicken, turkey, broths, veggies, etc.), ensuring pantry is stocked and going to the grocery store as needed, monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies, load/unload dishwasher, make beds, change bed linens, turning down beds when needed in the guest rooms,  occasional errands, laundry, ironing, steaming as needed, logging items to/from dry cleaners, polishing silver, and additional tasks such as preparing for events and guests and notify the Household Manager of any issues that arise in the home.  It's a large residence--15,000+square feet Luxury Residence.

A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Strong physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, bend and use step stool or ladder
• Seeking longevity/long term commitment (Family has had other employees for 10+ years in the home)

NOTE: Housekeeper must wear a uniform in the home and hair in a bun or pony tail. When Housekeeper is preparing food, a hair net and gloves will be required as well.

*Housekeeper must be an experienced driver with clean record and can use a family vehicle for errands needed.
 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

40 hours per week. With a 30 minute lunch break.

Hours are typically either: Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm or 12pm-8:30pm. However, flexibility with the schedule is definitely needed as schedule can shift a bit depending on the week.

Flexibility also to help out with extra hours as needed-ex: later evenings, weekends, etc. during times where the family is having events, parties, etc.

**Some holidays might be required to work (Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July) and will be paid overtime.

**Travel to their other homes in: Chicago and Lake Geneva would be a plus-but not a must.



Salary: $35 per hour BEFORE TAXES

This loving family has 2 children: 6-year-old boy and 2-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, responsible and friendly Nanny to stay with their family long-term. 6 year old is in school until 3pm, so majority of the day will be spent with the 2 year old. Duties include: prepare meals and snacks for children (family will have pre-made meal that nanny will need to heat up), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, playing toys, read books, sing songs, play outside, play games, arts and crafts, etc., take to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc.,  assisting with potty training 2 year old, pick up older child from school, tidy up common areas, do children's laundry and load/unload dishwasher. Children both have nut allergies (no anaphylaxis). The ideal candidate will be responsible, trustworthy and engaging.

Work days and hours:

Thursday: 10am - 6pm

NOTE: Nanny will have to use her car to pick up child from school and will get compensated for mileage.

This loving family has 1 child: 1 month old baby girl and is seeking an experienced, caring and calm Nanny to stay with them long-term. Duties include: newborn care (diapers, feeding, naptime),bathe child as needed, get child dressed, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher,  baby's laundry, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with baby (tummy time, etc.), read books, sing songs, take child on walks, to parks, library etc., prepare food for baby when she's old enough to eat solids,  Nanny must have newborn/infant experience, be CPR certified or willing to get certified if hired and be fully vaccinated (including Flu, COVID and TDAP).  The ideal candidate will be engaging, knowledgeable in early childhood development and reliable. Parents work from home.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 43 hours a week.

**NOTE: Family would like the Nanny to start part-time-3 days/week in the middle of December, and then start the regular full-time hours after New Year's.

This loving family has 2 children: 3-year-old boy and 16 month old girl and is seeking an engaging, patient and reliable Nanny to stay with their family long-term.

Duties include: get children ready for the day (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare snacks and meals for children (parents will already have these prepared), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities--ex: letters, numbers, colors, etc., sing songs, read books, play outside, do arts and crafts, play games, sensory activities, gross motor activities, etc., walk children to nearby parks and playgrounds, nap/quiet time after lunch for the kids, sometimes help with pick up from school for oldest child on Wednesdays, keep children's play areas neat/tidy, dishes after snacks/lunch, etc., children's laundry, assist with potty training for toddler, empty out diaper genies as needed and restock diapers/wipes as needed.

The ideal candidate will be very creative and engaging/not on their phone during the day, happy, kind and punctual as both parents are Dr's. Nanny must also be comfortable following their parenting philosophy-- gentle parenting approach with boundaries--talking through feelings, etc.

**Nanny must be CPR certified or willing to get certified if hired and be vaccinated for all necessary vaccines + the flu shot during flu season.

Option 1 (24 hours/week):

Monday: 8am - 4pm

Duties include: pick oldest child up from school and drive to daycare, run errands, grocery shopping, meal prep for kids, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, pick all 3 children up from daycare (around 5:30/6pmish), bring back home, newborn care (bottles, diapers, etc.), prepare dinner for kids, bathe children and get ready for bedtime (start bedtime routine). Mom works from home a few times a week. The ideal candidate will be communicative, energetic and proactive.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 26 hours a week.
