This loving family has 1 child: 2-year-old boy and is seeking a caring, loving, and communicative Temporary Nanny to stay with their family for the next 6 months. Duties include: making the child’s meals, potty training (would like someone who has experience doing this before), play toys and games, imaginary play, talk with him and have conversations, create developmentally appropriate activities to help achieve milestones, and send a daily log of updates on his mood, activities you did during the day, meals he ate and how potty training went. CPR certified or willing to become is a big plus! Both parents work from home. The ideal candidate will be passionate, energetic, and organized.

**This is a 5 day and 40 hour per week Temporary Nanny position that will start on 3/10/2025 go until 9/5/2025**

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

NOTE: There is a possibility if Nanny is interested to stay on long-term however, the hours would be part-time as child will be going to daycare

NOTE: No driving is needed for this position however, if Nanny takes own car to/from work there is free garage parking available

Duties include: run errands, grocery shopping, light cooking (examples: rice, chop veggies, and family can teach candidate to follow easy recipes), laundry, light housekeeping (tidy up living area), clean the cat’s litterbox, drop-off/pick-up child from activities, arrange play-dates, and occasionally bake with the daughter. Dad works from home and mom works from home a couple days a week. Grandparents also come and visit for several months at a time—candidate must be comfortable with family speaking in a different language when they are there. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, and understanding.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm

NOTE: Household Manager-Nanny must be an experienced driver. You will need to use your own car to run errands and drive the child. Will be reimbursed for mileage.

This busy family has 2 children: 5-year-old girl and almost 3-year-old girl and is seeking a helpful, proactive, and self-confident Household Manager-Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Nanny duties include: get children ready for the day (teeth brushed, do their hair—MUST be able to do simple hairstyles such as a simple braid or ponytail, and pack their backpacks), and occasionally drop them off at school. Household Manager tasks include: tidying up the children’s room, family laundry, run errands (dry cleaners, grocery shopping, etc.), organizational projects, make a list of items/inform the family of what they are running low on, help pack/unpack for vacations, oversee/manage maintenance services, and assist with birthday party planning and holidays (example: contacting vendors, purchasing decorations, wrapping presents, etc.). Mom works from home. This is mostly a Household Management position—candidate must be comfortable with parents interacting/helping with the children. Mom sometimes travels for work so it is imperative that the Nanny is punctual as dad will leave for work right when Nanny gets to the home. The ideal candidate will be diligent, hardworking, and take initiative.

Work days and hours:

Option 1: Monday-Friday: 6am-11am

Option 2: 4 days a week (must be during the weekday): 6am-11am

Family currently has a daytime Nanny and is looking for a 2nd Nanny to join their family to help out with the afternoons/evenings, weekends and travel. Duties will vary depending on the day but will include: prepare healthy snacks and meals for child, drive child to/from school and activities, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with child, do arts and crafts, sing songs, read books, teach letters, numbers, colors, etc., read books, tidy up common areas, and let dog out as needed. Family anticipates having another baby down the road, so Nanny should be comfortable with this and have some newborn/infant experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, dedicated and creative.

Work days and hours:

40 hours/week will be guaranteed. But flexibility for more hours as needed.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday: 3pm-7pm + 1 weekend day + flexibility on how the rest of the hours are spread to get to 40/week

Family typically travels 1-3 times a month. This can range anywhere from 2 days up to 7. Travel is mostly domestic but sometimes international. Trips will be discussed in advance. Nanny must be comfortable traveling on a private plane with the family.

This active and busy family has 2 children: 10-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy and is seeking an experienced, patient, caring and responsible nanny and house manager to care for the children, and help the home to run smoothly. The family is looking for the individual to stay with the family for many years, as they want someone to be home should anything arise with the children. Oldest child is in school full-time and youngest child is in preschool part time.  Both parents work- one part time remote, the other parent is in the office full time or traveling for work.  The children love to engage in creative playtime, arts & craft activities, and playing outdoors.  

Childcare duties include: drive children to/from school and activities (oldest child is in dance in the afternoon), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, take to library, parks, playgrounds, etc., host playdates, tidy up common areas and help children clean up after themselves, provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

Household duties include: keep common areas and children’s bedrooms tidy and organized, load/unload dishwasher, children’s laundry, ironing some of the children’s clothing, grocery pickup, ensure kitchen is cleaned up after children’s meals, meal prep assistance, be home for home maintenance services that will be scheduled by the family and they will provide notice of these appointments in advance, occasionally taking dog to groomer.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, kind and an excellent communicator with parents. They must have previous experience has a Nanny and House Manager.  The nanny must also be very active and engaging--kids love to ride bikes and scooters, play at the playground, etc. Nanny should be creative in coming up with age-appropriate activities to do with the children.

**Travel: Family goes to family lake house in Lake Geneva for 1 week in the summer. Family would love if Nanny can join and will have separate bedroom and bathroom to stay in during the trip.  **This is a plus-not a must!

Some days may be more household management and other days may be more childcare (example: while grandma takes care of the children Nanny will do household management tasks, some days grandma may have one child while the Nanny has the other, etc.). Duties include: reading books, playing with toys, creating obstacle courses, following after or jogging with 5-year-old while he bikes, taking children to activity classes, organizing toys, making meals for the children, following children’s routines, and light housekeeping. Both parents work from home a couple days a week. NOTE: Grandmother is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will be undergoing radiation in the spring.
